In the season premiere, Jim must pick up the pieces after his farm is the victim of a suspicious fire, sending $500,000 worth of cannabis and his precious barn and drying facility up in smoke. While the authorities work to identify a suspect, Jim and his team must race to find a place to dry and cure their next harvest of cannabis, greenhouses and outdoor fields filled with plants that must be processed in 10 days. With another $500,000 of cannabis on the line, the future of Belushi’s Farm is at risk.

Upcoming stories on GROWING BELUSHI this season include Jim ignoring his own plans for a slow and steady expansion across the USA to move as quickly as possible so he can sell his legendary strains of “Captain Jack,” “Cherry Pie,” and his unique “Blues Brothers Working Man’s Brand” as he is truly on “his mission from God” to heal those in need; exploring opportunities and taking road trips with his cousin Chris and business partner actor and comedian Dan Aykroyd; and taking to the backcountry of the central coast of California to chase a mystical rumor of the legendary and elusive “Big Sur Holy Weed,” a cannabis seed that launched the hippie cannabis revolution in California in the 1960’s.
